Bought a new car. Well, new by my standards... I'm skint again now but it'll be nice to drive something decent for a change.
No pics yet, haven't got it, but its a ten year old Suzuki Grand Vitara ('05-'10 shape) and the five door jobbie, not the little hairdresser's one. Bought a diesel in the end. SWMBO and I have just been to see tonight's offerings at the Olympic park in Stratford. When we got there we were upgraded to be close to the track so got to see the triple jump close at hand. The atmosphere was fantastic. Pity the Brits performances didn't match it . Now back at nephews house in Walthamstow. And back home tomorrow.
Seems out athletes have been spending their funding on G&Ts and not training. Made it home, found no BSB was recorded but by luck it was on Eurosport's highlights so saw it. Rains back
After a night out and a heavy session I got pulled over by the police in the early hours of this morning. As I fell out of my car the copper started checking my number plate, got on his radio and said, "Charlie, Whiskey, Tango" I thought, "how the fuck does he know what I've been doing?"
Back home from that there London. Took five hours to get back as the weather was/is shocking and the motorway was incredibly slow, even for those conditions. Tonight will be a catch up on last nights GoT and Coronation Street

Just emailed Brockenhurst Parish Council as they have objected to our application for cladding to replace the (horrible and falling off) 1970 tiles on the outside of our house. I have asked for a copy of their site visit report (bet they didn't even visit) and all paperwork under FOI. Rather than objecting to things that improve the look of the neighbourhood perhaps they could do something about the god awful colours the neighbours have painted their garage doors! Rant over!!!
i think most parish councils have someone full time looking out for planning applications and objecting to em based only on the fact you didnt ask them first.. next time approach them first.. take food.. laced with lsd... and a camera
Witnessed a girl ( tourist) fall off her hired moped today. She looked ok and was helped by a crowd of onlookers. In all the confusement and embarrassment as she got back on she clearly mistook the throttle for the brake and proceeded to ride across a busy section of road straight in to a tree.
No that's just normal female driving behaviour, check out YouTube and you'll find millions of examples with both bikes and cars.
You asked for permission for a bit of stone cladding ? Would not have bothered, would have just stuck it up. I live near Brock, and they would not have even noticed, not exactly a 2 story extension you're asking for, why bother asking ??
