  1. Bloody hell what can you say. Only read him on here but seemed like a fun guy. You never know what is going on with your fellow man all you see is what they show you. RIP

  3. ive just logged in and read this thread..very, very sad news. there are many opinions on suicide, buy however you cut it, its a tragedy. i feel so sorry for him to have reached a point where taking your own life seems like a reasonable solution. most of us have had some very rough times in our lives, and may even have contemplated suicide..its not something a person on the spur of the moment..as such i can only offer my deepest sympathy for him and the road that took him to that dark place. i didnt know darren personally, i just exchanged a few jokes with him on here, but that doesnt diminish the sincerity of my feelings and i wish there was something someone who knew him could have done...my love and thoughts are with his family and friends..i wish he couldve found help to work him through the problems he must have encountered.
    all the best mate

  4. rest in peace fella, ride on

  5. This is indeed sad. Find it also an eye opener as to people you converse with in places like this. It's only by one friend of Darren that we learn of this tragedy. As I'm sure for many on here including me, nobody would know if I were to depart this mortal coil and would just think I had stopped posting

  6. I chatted to Darren on and off a bit, bought a case saver off him last month and was hoping to get a titanium one off him as soon as I found a new job. He was a really top bloke, and reading this thread makes me very very sad. My thoughts go out to his family and friends, especially you guys and girls off here. If you could post a pic or two of all the bikes at his send off, that would be appreciated. Would be there if I was local. As we say in New Zealand "Kia kaha" (stay strong). RIP Darren. You will be missed.

  9. Havent been around for a while - so have only just seen this - such sad sad news and just before Xmas too. I met Darren once - and he was a nice chap. Thoughts to his family - awful for them to cope with particularly at this time of year.

  10. Tried to register here but they refused me thought I was spam! Anyway was going to say Hi to them on my part and post the link to here so they knew about the arrangements and all that, just tying to do something helpful...

If there are any members on his old forum post the link to here.

  12. Very very sad.
We live in difficult times, there are so many external forces that can upset that balance for any one us and often it's impossible to do anything about it.

    RIP Darren

  17. After reading all the post and re-reading them again I feel very sad that he felt like he did, but if I'm honest it made me revaluate my life and family and I'm going to make sure that I spend quality time treasuring my little girls and wife more than before. Again rest in peace and I will be thinking of his family and friends over the next few weeks.....and I'm sure we all might agree ever time we visit the forum we will think of him...could we not have a pic of his bike on the welcome page as a mark of respect for him...just a thought.
