So I am collecting a 14 month old 1200S next week after six years on the GTR, it's standard so looking to put a few extras on it like some sort of engine protection, radiator protection and as we have a company who can do carbon dipping I can get some plastic done. What makes the bike look good over and above the standard bike. Thanks Alan

Having a white bike with the red frame has anybody got the wheels powder coated red and if so any pics, I quite like the idea. Plus Evotech are out of stock with parts, I have had R&G stuff before is that ok? Are engine bars a better option than crash bungs type things, if so which are recommended? Can't wait to be the bike after trying the demo one.

Hi there, I've a 2016 DVT s touring . IMPORTANT Check with the dealer how to turn the side lights on. Its mentioned in the manual once but NO mention how to turn on. I've just been "questioned" by Ducati enthusiastic Police rider who noted I was stopped in a 50 mph zone ( safely at end of cars ! ) with no lights on . It's against the law and said he would not do anything this time . Had'nt struck me before ! Riders don't know . GT motorcycles looking into it ( Steve there worth his weight in gold ) Otherwise bikes best I've had in 40 yrs riding . Starship in an armchair !. Denalli D4's up front are awesome .... won't mate with the bikes canbus system ... thank you NOT Denali for few porkies their ! Don't buy the top box till you have checked out the touring package which includes the tank bag ATF 50 ..lots inside !! Watch out for dealer prices on servicing Otherwise .. ENJOY its marvellous . I always thought the side lights were on permanently? I thought it was the law, certainly on my GTR they were. I have ACF50 and will coat the "inside" as soon as I have cleaned it properly. I have the touring pack fitted already and a new top box, I do like a top box. Was thinking of getting some touring lights. Thanks
Hi Sorry : parking lights . Have sent feelers out all over including Ducati Italy . Parking on a road where 50mph applies vehicle must have parking lights ( RTA ) I've had ' fortunately ' a motorcycle cop come for a look at the bike . I was helmet off and about to phone . He'd liked the bike but was just checking . Enquiries about parking lights ... I'd not a clue how to them on . Not in the manual though they are mentioned. Nobody seems to know how . He warned me his 'associates ' might nick me for this . Suggest you ask dealer when you get yours . Check out Denali website . I got mine as was fed up with my st4's pathetic job . D4's are really surplus to high beam and have reach of useable light to about 550 feet . They're damn good in all situations. I'm thinking about getting tiny denalis too
