I've been out for a blatt on my beloved today. I loved every minute, despite the crappy road condition and crappy weather. Just thought i should say!
he's a 2012 1198. i also have a 1990 ZZR1100, which is in the middle of a suspension rebuild / service to get it to go round corners!
You've got a fab bike for going around corners. Just use the armchair bus for going in a straight line (if indeed you use it at all). Yes, I could see why you love your bike (the former, that is :wink
Funny old word simple Being happy with the current moment whether it's how you're wanting it to go or not - I like my bike a bit more complicated I know I have a fever
I'll take the ZZR off your hands for a few quid......particularly if it is a black & blue one..............I could get mine to handle better than a ZXR750 and probably better than my SS. AL
It is indeed black and blue, a C1. Theres only 70 or so left on the UK roads it seems. Thanks for the offer, but I'm enjoying owning it. It's v. fast, v. comfortable and spends quite a bit of time blatting up and down motorways. The handling and brakes were crap, hence my time spent rebuilding them. 22 years after first gracing the public roads, it still has enough power to light up the back at 80plus in the damp (err, at Cadwell. or Oulton Park. Or Thruxton.... Not the A5 just north of Shrewsbury at all)!
What year is the ZZR....1990 by any chance? How many owners? Or, do you know when / where first reg? AL
