Yes I agree but these guys do there own thing I guess. I'm astonished at how many people smash themselves up training on pedal cycles too. I am an old school Rossi fan. He won on a 500 2 stroke too and has entertained for years. I think his 10th was robbed last year and I do fear a little that without his like the sport may grey a little. It is not good news for anyone I'm backing Dovi now anyway.
They've said about the dangers of this training before but the riders are all in unison. If you want us to be at the top of our game, battling for 10ths, we need this.
Stick Trump on his bike as a wild card! Turn off all the electronics and tell him it's the safest, best, slowest bike in the world; it truly is. Que mass attendance at the race and within 30 seconds global peace is restored
Well that didn't take long for a thread about Valentino Rossi's accident to turn into a Trump-bashing opportunity
Most people who are watching this seasons racing feel more he is riding for the podiums than the win and to be fair, he has been at this for decades, at some point you will lose that second here and there and some young gun, as he was, will come along. I hope he see's this season out but I suspect he will see next season as his last. As has been mentioned, he has his fingers in many pies in moto world so I'm sure we will not lose him completely.
What makes me laugh is all the bell ends calling for him to retire.. errr he's the biggest part of MotoGP and motorcycles in general so why would any team want that? Also he's still beating the majority of the grid and whenever the going gets tough (tyres for example) he nearly always comes good. Absolute legend status.
I thought he rode really well on Sunday and will be sorry to see him miss races,he still is prepared to mix it with the rest.
Well I'm sure that Rossi's support for the championship now will be with his old mate Dovi.... As is mine too.. .. "Come on Dovi"
who was in the Yam Suzuka team - whichever one of them doesn't have a motoGP seat would be my guess. Or Lorenzo for sh1ts'n'giggles...
Interesting article the other day, saying how Rossi thinks both tech 3 riders should be on factory kit. He's citing the fact Crashlow is, and the benefits of him testing where MM and Ped don't. To give him his due, he didn't seem concerned that they would have two very fast, young rider on pretty much same kit as his.
Dear Lord knobble, don't mention the big VR retiring, you'll have all these crazed fanboys screaming and crying in their helmets !!!
I heard that with Rossi crashing, MotoGP is going to go under ... unless the EU can step in and save it. I think that is what the OP was saying, anyway.
