  6. No running footage of the bike yet? I thought today was the unveiling event at some race track in Italy?

  7. Surely that "fact" would be dependent on the length of said aircraft flight, and the types of car and their distance ?? It's a bit generic to say 300 don't ya think

  8. no

  9. eh?

  10. It's a Ducati chap, it's probably already in the dealers having warranty work done

  11. Well considering the advances in motorcycling over the past decade. I'm sure it'll need a tweak & polish from those able to buy one. Still I'm holding out hope for a 2019 multistrada V4'

  12. So if a small aircraft flies from Birmingham to Edinburgh, that uses 300x a cars use in a year does it? Behave, simple maths says otherwise.

  13. eh?
no, you behave  I was on the safe side, and I was talking about a 300 seat jet. Do the maths and come back.

  14. I refer back to your original statement then where you were not at all specific which is why I questioned it. I am a 20 year served aircraft eng and your generic point is untrue. Aircraft fuel use is dependant on altitude, wind direction, angle of attack, laden weight, speed, aircraft type etc etc etc, so to say a plane (aircraft) uses the same as bla de bla is complete speculation based on unknown information.

  15. both plane and cars have variables. Just base your calcs on a standard 5 hour flight, plus return, on a A330 (fresh mot and dynojet) full 295 passengers plus 35kg baggage, include take off and landings, and for ease, use averages for your 'unknowns' then , and only then can you say my point is untrue.
I suggest you, like most others dont and wont try to comprehend the volume of both the fuels used, and the volume of pollution, from even one 5 hour flight.

  16. and the new V4 sounds like the panigale on mono speakers

  17. Wouldn't it be a jetdynojet?

  18. are you suggesting an aircrafts wheels dont do the driving? havent you seen them smoke when they land? pah

  19. It's a piece of piss to figure out, but I feel my point is kind of wasted on you. Please, just read your original statement as that's what I questioned. God, this is literally like pulling rear molars
