  4. When I have the next op on my leg I'm shaving it before I go in, if only for easy removal of the dressing.. ohhh lordy that smarts when you take them off..

  5. I have a couple of those, one on the Pashley Guv'nor and one on the Specialized fixie, they are excellent.

  6. So I guess I need to find a decent independent ad walk in there, show em me arse and see what they recommend?

  7. im thinking that a few of you are a bit more serious about cycling than me

  8. Bradders, ping me your address and I'll put a selection of saddles in the post. Try them all and return what you don't need.

  9. Very kind offer Jerry. Better still, meet up for a pint, which I'll buy, and I'll collect :)

  10. that does sound better

  11. Always had bikes myself. Had far too many to remember , but currently got 4.

Stumpy is my workhorse. 5 years of abuse and still perfect. Had lots of shiny bits added and new wheels as last rear hub broke.

My spooky I've had since my teenage days when I was bonkers and sponsored for throwing myself off stuff. Couldn't sell it ever. Built from frame upwards and very retro now.

my road bike is new this year, and only today added a few bling bits inc wheels. Carbon galore.

And finally my mbuk zaskar . Only one in existence as was built to be retro 90's but modern bits. I purchased it from the guy who won it kind of from mbuk mag. There will never be another. All one off bits produced for this bike. Means nothing to most folk but if u rode in the 90s you will love it.

  12. Feck, after what I've eaten and drank and the 4 kilos I've put on in the last 3 days, with 3 nights of Dememtor, to come, I need the feckin thing working as soon as possible! Lol

  13. Nice set of wheelie bins there ;-)

(Thought it I'd get in before the tea lady)

Oh, and bikes look tidy, too!

Bradders - you know that new year pre-season start will be a killer, so best get out on yer nephew's trike or whatever's at hand to make it that bit easier.

  14. Nice Supersix, I had to change the bar tape to black on mine, that lovely white just didn't last.

  15. That Zaskar is sweet! But you have cheated there with the discs, surely? At least they are purple anodised..... some Onza or Ringles would be nice to see.....?

Do you have at ETO helmet and a set of Axo purple boots to ride it in? Some Oakley frogskins?

Can you still get Specialized Ground Control tyres anywhere? Or some Farmer Johns?

  16. Its all beer tho ;-)

  17. To answer a couple of questions,

its the second set of bar tapes on the supersix. They are a nightmare but look good.

and chammtb I didn't build the zaskar. It was built by mbuk magazine a few years ago. They had all the parts made as one offs at a cost of £3500. That's why they won't be another. They gave it away in a competition. I purchased it a couple of years ago.

    C,ick this for mag

  18. I don't think they had the parts made as "one offs" It was more that they selected them specifically for that bike. One offs would essentially mean prototypes.

  19. Hope never made a purple set of brakes or hubs other than these. So one off. Also etched with 20th anniversary mbuk logo
Tyres are only pair of smoke darts with skin sidewall
reba forks were only pair made in judy yyellow
    frame is one of 500

  20. So just an anodising on the brakes then? You can make almost any colour when anodising. Not one off "made". Etched with a logo. Not one off made. I've had Smoke/Darts with skin sidewall. Reba forks powder coated in yellow. Not one off made. I've got some pink ones........ 500 frames are not one off either. Unique yes, but no "one off bits". Sorry.
