Is it just my imagination or is the military / ex military statistically over represented here (reading between one or two lines) ?
So your not tinkling the ivories at the local Opium den now Mr C? yes I do cut of heads ... And whittle a few poles to stick them on out side my house.
Maybe we need another thread, "I used to be a pongo/crab/matelot/booty but I'm better now" (10 years a pongo)
What percentage of bike riders are women ? Walking around Motorcycle Live last year with my daughter she commented on how male and middle aged the people in the halls were.
No idea but probably higher percentage on 'non exotic' bikes  There are fewer young lads to - when I was in my teens the only beardies you saw on bikes were on Harleys
I've still got one pair of army socks and the remains of my army towel. I did have my Trousers, Lightweight but when I tried to put them on a couple of years ago to do some gardening I discovered that man made fibres shrink when they're left in the cupboard for 20 years. :frown:
That's one advantage of still being in. The stores don't mind when I one for one - but in the next size up. Now if only a manufacturer of leathers would do the same!
Funny that - my No1 Uniform seems to shrink whilst in a suit carrier in the wardrobe Still getting free socks, but not for much longer. My next ship will be citizenship!
