So what have you done today..?

  1. It does look like the Maxxis tyre I fitted the rear of the KTM, are they any good?... I don't expect it too last too long.

We did the 15 hourly KTM service today, took about 20mins, easy job. It's not too expensive if that's the cost after every race event, £130ish in parts and oil, but when considering an engine rebuild is only equivalent of 260 round trips into town, 30 mins each way. I guess it's not clever to ride it more than necessary.

9 Holes of Golf, with Phil from the Forum.. getting drenched just near the last green. I think it was a draw in the end.

    Not a bad day.

  2. Yep, Maxxis superdiamond. Had a few pairs and they are brilliant tyres. Last longer than expected too, I've had mine on about 5k miles and am starting to need a new set.

I think Chris Walker used them for his school, so they more than work for me.

  6. Have just removed another crap Datatool S3 alarm from my Triumph 1050 ST, Woeful piece of rubbish, nothing but trouble so removed it whilst muttering alot of swear words.
Tracing wires was not fun, and then realised there was a simpler way by bridging a few wires.

Will post up photos of it smashed to pieces when I find my sledge hammer.

  8. That's it, just had to bridge 2 sets of wires together, made my own bridging plug using the old one cut of the alarm and plugged that straight back into the loom. Glad to be rid of it.

  9. Listening to this earlier and I get what you mean

  10. My life has gone from the sublime to the ridiculous within one week.

Last weekend I was at silverstone watching BSB in Ducati hospitality. Tomorrow I'm going to see Peppa Pig and George at Canon Hall Farm nearby.

    FML. ;)

  13. Went to see "Cilla" (the musical) at the Liverpool Empire with the missus tonight (SWMBO is a Scouser). Not bad - I'm not a fan of musicals but have to show willing on occasions.

There is however, a very famous pantomime story where Cilla Black was playing Jack in "Jack and the Beanstalk" where at the end of the story she has the villain on his knees with a sword in her hand she says to the crowd “boys and girls what shall I do with him?”

Everybody was shouting “kill him, kill him” and Cilla replied “how shall I kill him?”

One young scouser in the audience shouted “sing to him”

  17. Got outta bed. So far its been downhill from there. As I was having a nice dream that I now cannot remember. I was rudely awoken by my cat. At 6am, 7am etc. I eventually got up and fed the ginger bastard, which once scoffed has herself fucked off back to bed with wifey leaving me up and wide awake.
