Finally had a day without severe stomach cramps, shivering and liquid rear end stuff after eating these Tapas last Thursday in Spain. Don't eat them if you visit Mt Igeldo in San Sebastien, they looked n tasted lovely at the time! 900 mile trip worrying if my bowels were going to ruin the wifes car seat!
Took the hyper out for a run for the first time in the month since we've been in then news house. First time time at least three weeks that the weather hasn't been totally shite. Still smiling...
I've had a condom in my wallet for the past ten years and I've a feeling it will be getting used this weekend. It was stolen yesterday
got to look round the Mid-hants railway workshops on the weekend. Half a dozen lathes and milling machines in the light machine shop alone. And a BR standard 9F running on a demonstration freight train. which was nice.
Went to Outlon Park BSB yesterday. Never been there before, watched some good racing (especially the last Superbike race). Weather forecast was good for the day (that morning). However on leaving it hammered down about 5 minutes out of the circuit and then proceeded to be torrential pretty well all the way home to Bristol ( i think it stopped at Thornbury ) - no waterproofs but my leathers are now nicely stretched. I dont think ive ever ridden through rain that heavy in my life ever, for that amount of time (about 4 hours to get home) as there were x amount of contraflows and what not. Zed performed brilliantly and didnt miss a beat, although its sitting back at home in the garage totally caked so itll be getting a good clean tonight....least i can do for its stirling service. Brembo hpk's are now bedding into the discs so im starting to see the benefit of top end calipers...new pads at the end of the month then a set of PFM discs, RCS if im feeling rich in a couple of months time....
#KnobHeadOfTheDay #ToReallyFuckThingsYouNeedAnAngleGrinder (Sunday actually but I just realised what i've done (insert bang head emoji many times)
