I got up early yesterday (prompted by SWMBO going to the sales). I fannied around on the Internet for a while then watched the Godfather which I recorded about 3 years ago. I have godfather 2 and 3 to watch later today I hope. Around we went next door for nibbles, booze and dinner. Which was lovely. I fell asleep twice on her sofa whilst watching the footy. I must have needed it :smile: Today we've got no2 son, future wife and baby coming for the day and night. All my beer will have disappeared come tomorrow morning.
Yesterday I cooked roast for the kids and I as it was our Xmas day. My niece was 2 also we spent a couple of hours with her Back to work today same old
Drove home from Gloucestershire expecting to find my house under water. Thankfully only a bit of water on the kitchen floor (it's lower than the rest of the house). Environment agency website has been showing my road as being under water for the last two days. Could be worse, my neighbour has an underground garage, and that ain't fairing quite so well...
I am taking shelter in the office as the children have 3 friends coming for Dinner :-( the house will be a filled with the noise tat only a group of 3 to 6 year old's can make. I have also been forced to watch "The Lion King" twice and it is not even Mid Day !! I am off later to halfords to buy junk and then i shall surf ebay

doing both jobs today - told my celebrity pet sitting weekend job is in jeopardy - not entirely unexpected but they could have waited until the New Year :frown: and / or been a little clearer than - well err umm ahh you see - big horses in Italy until September so not really any work for you and well outgoings are more than incomings but I'll speak to the big boss etc etc - worst thing is the guy they employed to implement 'cost cutting' is getting 15% commission on every £1 he saves - he's just having a tennis court put in
+1 on the Turkey Broth, trotting away nicely as I write....she's lying on the couch with a duvet over her watching freekin Fiddler on the bastard roof, so I've got the one peice leather suit out the wardrobe and giving it a right good clean with that "Buffalo" leather cleaner, after that the "textiles" are going to get the nik wax treatment, and after all that I may decide to polish me helmet!!!

Loved living down West was such a nice friendly happy place With the exception of a few here East is well hmm miserable and people even go on holiday to the seaside 12 miles away!!!!!!!!!!! WTF because they go to a god awful market at the same place every Sunday I feel quite normal and sane here.
