Snells checked a DSS error for me, and couldn’t replicate once cleared. They mentioned my chain was tight, so slackened it off. Now as I have done 2k miles on it, and it was set as the manual, I think from hereon on this model I shall be running a bit looser
My manual also said I should of had one of the chain measurement gauges (purchased late 2015), but the dealer said it was not included. Ended up ordering one from the link posted earlier in this thread. Only cost about 8 quid or so if I remember.
Under swing arm near centre there's a screw it holds the plastics on. Measure from the actual swing arm there to centre of chain link. 38 to 40mm . You still have to lay on your back ruler or gauge. Done.
