Managed to have a day off so made the most of this sunshine and did a few "leisurely" miles on the 999. Popped by Jool's Hollands house and blocked his drive to take a few pictures, not sure a Ducati is music to his ears.
130 miles of twisties round the Picos Perfect biking weather warm enough to sit outside and eat tapas but not so hot as you melt in your leathers
I looked outside this afternoon and it was pissing it down. I thought, "Fuck it, I'm not going out in that" - I'll pick the kids up from school tomorrow
This morning I spent chasing my two year old grandson around. Again. Again. Again. Again. Again (do you get the picture?) This afternoon I have mostly been laying on the sofa recovering. Tomorrow morning I have to take SWMBO to Piccadilly station in Manchester as she's off to Helensburgh to see #1 son and family for the week.
Went out with one of the wife's old workmates last night. Went to an italian (rather go for an indian) its always a safe bet but we went for italian.....ok night marred by the fact i had ordered what i thought would be a pretty big meal. Mostly italian in the description but there was almost a paragraph and i recognized the word "Lamb" in there... (if i go out to eat i want to be full up, get my moneys worth and all that). Served on a fuck off massive plate, right in the middle. Ate it in about (im not joking) about a minute...20 fucking quid. Ordered a dessert ( i dont usually order a dessert as im normally topped off by that point) chocolate brownie and ice cream was even smaller. The icing on the cake (pardon the pun) was the waiter who had the most awful fucking man bun balanced on his head wobbling around which just got on my nerves - which i didnt think could get any worse til his mouth opened....sounded like the waiter in Ferris Beuller. Got home and had a few slices of toast and a cup of tea.
Nah - some place on Victoria Street. Never go there again....it was nice food - there just wasnt enough of it....every one is going masterchef....big fuck off plates with fuck all on them...
