British Indy: What Happens Now?

?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

  1. Some do seem to confuse, feck, I spend all my wages every month on debts I ran up with sillyness or an inability to save first then spend after with, effin government is keeping me down man. Personal responsibility for your own financial management seems for some, to be a thing of the past.

Macrons and Merkels recent suggestions that the U.K. needs to sort out the leaving fee (something that has no legal basis in article 50) before anything else can be discussed shows the direction they have hidden before. They have always wanted to avoid an agreement preferring wto rules even though it will cost them greatly.

I have a feeling that the eu have planned far more for no deal and wto, than any kind of deal at all. It would be far better to be honest and say we cannot reach a deal so both sides are now seeking a relationship using the wto as we do with other non eu countries

  2. The EU doesn't work on honesty Noob. It would never have got this far if it did.

On the subject of Brexit and leaving without a deal, I was going to post a link to an article in The New Satesman, the house magazine of the collectivist egalitarian left, but you can't view it without paying a subscription..

  3. Morning Chuckles. :)

Wow, the Independent. If ever a newspaper was inappropriately named. :grinning:

So anyway, I clicked on the link for the author, this Tom Peck fellow. Not hard to see where his allegiance lies, you get the feeling that he'd love to slide in between the sheets with Corbyn, such is his sycophantically admiration of the bearded communist one.

  4. Morning chuckles, been double dosing on the expression again?

Like cnn with trump and trumps victory and the democrats, they would rather see the country fall than someone with a different view to them and had won by a democratic majority vote, do well.

Peck, if you read his normal diatribe , is one of the above masquerading as an independent journalist but in truth being little more than a biased social commentator or in simpler terms, he’s a cock.

  10. Morning sugar tits, there is no one go to guy or girl. Since 24 hour mass media and social media, all media sources are fighting each other for ratings/viewings/likes etc.

In many ways the old days of a few choices of information offered more accuracy as now you have like a google search, you might have 523,067,034 results in 0.29 seconds

Where that becomes an issue is that humans are lazy and are becoming lazier expecting everyone else to do it for them so will always take the path of least resistance, like water from a stream. The amount of people prepared to dig through not only their natural resource but others I do feel is on the decline. This leads to lazy politics and lazy political commentators posing as journalists

If you are prepared to wade through the swarf of journalistic toilet standards then there will always be part truths , it's just how much truth and what version you want?
