  1. Hi all,

    I’ve just joined the site after buying a 2008 848. It’s quite a change of direction for me as I’ve always preferred naked street bikes. This being my first sports bike I’m really struggling with the riding position, the gearing, the cornering and the power delivery. Don’t get me wrong, I’m loving the experience but If I’m honest I’m happier looking at it in the garage with a beer!

    How many posts do I need to do before I can post on the wanted forum? I’m after a RH mirror/indicator and was hoping to avoid extortion.

    PS, I don't like football, but its traditional to give out shit to PFC if you're from Southampton :upyeah:

  14. Don't view it as extortion. You'll come to learn that this is a nice forum, lots of *very* smart folk post on here and you'll get back far far more than you spend on subscription. It's optional though and you can either "pay in" with cash or with contribution or with both.

    Subscription can get you discounts and additional features. For me the discount I earned with ExactStart on a wiring kit for my 749 more than covered the cost, so I was ahead already.

    Welcome, and have a safe / happy time with the 848. Looks ace. :)

    I’m not from Pompey but I lived there for a number of years and for some reason I became a loyal fan. I’m not sure if that makes it better or worse...
