1200 DVT Has The Mst 1200s Quick Shift System?

  1. I just bought a MST 1200S and a friend told that this bike has Ducati Quick Shift (DQS) but I can't find anything in the manual.
I tried making gears changes without the clutch and I could make it easily.
    Any idea?
    Thanks!

  2. A properly run in gearbox makes clutchless upshifts easy, just on the throttle. Downshifts not recommended, although the slipper clutch does help there. Although even the first 1200s were wired for DQS, I don’t believe that Ducati ever introduced it for the Multi. A couple of third party options are available, but you’d immediately see the hardware above the gear lever.

  3. most QS set at 5500-6500 RPM, run your bike at high rpm keep the throttle open then up shift if your bike have QS

  4. I dont think it was ever an option for the MST.
    Aftermarket ones are available though

  5. No it is not an option. I have enquired about this & have tried many companies about. Healtech say they can do it. All the rest not sure because the bike is the DVT & they have not made one to date. Guinnea pig time so not bothered. I think the healtech was ushift only which i can do anyway its the downshift i liked the thought of.

  6. Defo no downshift blipper, you need to hack the fly by wire system !! DVT should make no difference as it only cuts ignition momentarily and would not effect the valve train timing.
JHP did offer it to me when i was looking to buy early in the year so they must be confident in the one they supply. I might talk to Ducati tomorrow to discuss

  7. Nope, not standard and no option. You’d have to go aftermarket fit.

  8. Thank you very much to all, guys!
I supposed but didn’t know exactly.

  9. Is this upshift only. :bucktooth:

  10. yep
