really cheap, not fancy, but got all the elements including Ducati Corse copy folding pegs brought three sets to get spare pegs, I crash a bit
These are a copy of Italian CNC rearsets but cheap, with all the same features, but better geometry and the rose-link is hidden on the other side of the main A bracket and have stronger engine brackets. the CNC rearsets dont have the folding pegs and the cheapies have extra adjustment between the engine and A brackets for extra height adjustment could have brought 7 sets for what I paid for the DP ones I brought but are more adjustable Spent hours looking for them; surprising number of manufacturers
Just to chuck in my view. I have had Giamoto on the race bike for two seasons and can't recommend them enough. Not sure on the price but they certainly look the part and are very well made. They have also survived quite a few less than low speed spills, yes they needed replacement footpegs but they didn't bend or snap the main rearset assembly. I run race shift so needed the relevant quick shifter but they are solid and never had any mis-shifts that weren't down to rider error. As far as I know you can get individual spares from them too rather than buying a whole new rearset. https://www.instagram.com/p/BYl_JnrBODm/?taken-by=trueheroesracing
Another vote for GiaMoto, I had a set on my S1000RR (OK, sorry, but I've seen the error of my ways...). Beautifully made, pure engineering porn!
My mate has a set (GiaMoto) on his HP4 and theyre very nicely made, reasonably priced too. I may shell out for a set for the pani. Greeeeat
I got them today and surprise, surprise? NO FOLDING FOOT-PEGS, i RECENTLY BROUGHT MOTO WHEELS REMAINING NCR FOOT PEGS AND A BRACKETS 300USD EACH! so if the chinese rearsets had folders it would have represented a big bonus\ The folders have a roll pin that locks them down and only allows folding in a accident when the pin shears and allows the peg to fold to prevent further danage to the brackets and frame
That peg in the image was one of the salvageable ones, I had another couple that were at least half worn and it had taken the gear lever end off too. All separate components though so easily replaceable. I'll see if I can find a few images.
I also have GiaMoto rearsets. They are quality. Highly recommended. I think they were £275 secondhand
They have factory Ducati folding pegs and are on Davies WSBK bike? Ducati has made? Promac? dont know, but if you find out tell me?
checked them;seems like £370 on Giamoto website; https://www.giamoto.com/rearsets/ducati-products/ bit blingy for me like the Chinese £88 ones?
I am not going to tell anybody that though only 12USD EBAY need these? very close to corse pegs except plastic slider usually white, and mount bracket steel
Have to admit they are more "blingy" than the BMW ones... Well, maybe it's the anodized bits that do it.
I also have GiaMoto rearsets. They are quality. Highly recommended. I think they were £275 secondhand £370+vat and delivery. They come up up secondhand often enough though. Can’t say I think they’re blingy though...
The best accessories are those that improve performance, that the knowledgeable understand, I have turned against the bling, Ducati uses Red anodizing for clutches and slave cylinders as does STM for race clutches, some aluminum engine water adaptors were blue, thats what I do, no gold, blue, green, pink, whatever (apart from hard green used on some race parts), only use black, silver and red now; I realize that here parts are fitted by appearance and not assessment of form and function; does it improve the bike, is it as mechanically reliable, strong and well made as the part taken off? does it improve the Ducati style or destroy it?
beautiful fits the bike style, (Italian-form art) expensive, less parts, takes up less width, not two brackets bolted together, look very nice on the bike Changed my mind, looks like they will take Corse folding pegs no folding toe pegs maybe prettier than Ducatis race pegs dont look as strong? they are not blingy, I was looking at some that had red and green parts
