Hi Guys Putting my pride and joy up for sale as it’s time to finally buy a house. I’m open to sensible offers and in no hurry to sell as I really want to keep it and I’m secretly hoping one of my other bikes sells first and saves this one from the misses. It’s in December’s fast bike as a centre spread Spec is as follows BST wheels Brembo m4 calipers Brembo hpk 330mm discs Brembo rcz master cylinder Ktec fork inserts and rear shock Ohlins steering damper Austin racing inconel full system Pcv Sprint filter DP lightened generator kit Sigma slipper clutch Bike sport delevlopments auto blipper kit Performance parts top yoke Alloy rear subframe 1199 front subframe 1199 valve covers Ducati performance Parts Levers Rearsets Fuel cap Comfort seat Full six carbon everything inc Electric box’s Huggers Radiator surround Air intact Infills Mirrors Side stand etc etc R&g tailtidy 1199 indicators I’ve forgotten bits in this list but you get the general idea. I’ve spent a fortune and I know I’ll lose money but I’m looking for offers over 15k and your thoughts of what it should be sold for Thanks in advance Dan
You're into 1299 territory at £15k so a specialist buyer is your only limited audience, lovely bike even if the only thing related to the original bike is the decals you're competing against standard 2015 bikes for under 10k. In my humble opinion it's steep even if the value of the parts is considerably higher GLWS
I'd strip the extras off and sell them mate, £15k I just don't think it'll move especially in a private sale. Just being honest.
Really nice, thats how I'd probably get mine looking when I eventually pick one up. Unfortunately think one is a little over spec for my wallet
Last time I weighed it all I’d knocked 36kg of it but I need to weigh it all again as I’ve done a lot more since but probably only know a couple more kg off
I think as above, strip and put back to standard and sell wheels etc separately. PITA but only way you'll likely get anything near what you want
Don’t know dry I’ll dig all the figures out tomorrow and add them up again and stick it on here, just trying to remember of top of my head, the exhaust knocked loads off and the wheels where 8-9kg as wel
That's why I said what I said. There again the parts could all be made from carbon fibre lite and unobtainium.
Ducati 899 - Dry weight 169kg / kerb weight 193kg - Wet = 24kg Superleggera - Dry weight 156kg / kerb weight 167 kg - Wet =11kg Ducati man maths at its best http://www.ducati.com/bikes/superbike/899_panigale/2015/tech_spec.do http://superleggera.ducati.com/en/technical-spacifications Good luck with the sale mate,i had my 899 up for 15k had a couple of sniffs but stripped the expensive bits off, sold the bike for 11k and got 5.5k for the bits.was well worth it in the end to strip it,i even swapped a few bit onto my 1299.
simples, to nice to sell, you will regret it for ever, let your wife sell off her handbags and her christian louboutins instead lol
Sadly, I'm with everyone else. It's almost certainly worth the money, but I worry you'll struggle to get it. Labours of love rarely pay you back, I find.
