  1. I tried to sign up to a new cooking website today.

When it asked for password, I put in "Beef Stew", but they came back and told me it wasn't stroganoff

  2. The wife told me tonight, that I ruined her birthday.

God knows what I've done now, I didn't even know it was her birthday

  3. Just got back having had a really good evening. 5 strong session musicians and a singer doing a creditable tribute band of Bowie's music. Nothing newer than about 1985 so they were all recognisable. If you are a hardcore Bowie fan, just take it for what it is and you'll have good evening. Average age of the audience tonight was probably about 68 but they were up in the isles jigging away. Andy

  4. So you was a youngster then Andy ;)

  5. Absolutely. There were a few youngsters, Carole's daughter is 18, so you can imagine the age of some of the audience ! Andy

  12. Awesome bit of kit, always wanted one after seeing Steve Baker on one. Pity about the noise arrestors on the pipes, far better scream without them. If I remember rightly an American raced one of them in the Le Mans 24hr and apparently broke the lap record in the night

  18. New helmet day. Been looking for a while, decided on HJC Rpha max evo, lightest flip front I've tried and fits my forehead so well. Considered quite a few others but £370 with a £100 off that (even cheapest internet was £250) so decent price too. Also bought another bluetooth headset for it.

Tried a Shark carbon lid too as I have no full face one as I threw the 4 I had away the other week...nearly walked out with 2 o_O
