Hey there, I'll definitely write a comparison for you...My first guess what that it would almost be the same, the 1198 has a shorter wheelbase but ticked in bars, whereas the SF has wide bars and a longer wheelbase by 10mm...Can't wait to throw it about. Kinda scary as my last few bikes have all been naked...
The 1198 is crazy fast, i think due to the lack of weight to it. Like riding a high powered bmx! Have fun, and be careful!
Thanks for the advice...is it that much faster that the SF ? My good friend and I ride out quite a bit here in Cornwall (Ivor) and he's on the 1198 as well.. but I've not seen him really rag it as it's not his thing anymore. Although there was this one time I couldn't keep up...from wind blast
There is that; that you are tucked in so maybe feels faster. But's it's a track bike for the road really, pulls like a train. You will love it on those roads down there.
