      Don't usually like to put anything on my plastic but keen to understand if this is meant for a seat or is suitable on a cowl?. Thanks.

        I’ve not used it, but in the past I have always refitted the seat pad or protected the plastic cowl with something; I wouldn’t sit it straight on the plastic.

        I guess it will fit just about any bike; it’s a generic DP item.

        I have an 1199 so could show you a pic if you want.
