This is my first post to this forum. I just completed a 14K mile trip on my 2010 Multistrada from my home in Alaska to the Canadian Maritimes, into the states and back up to Alaska. My only real issue was getting service and parts. Nobody stocks anything and all parts have to come from Italy. I'm sure the aftermarket is starting to produce wear parts although dealers (bike under warranty) don't like to use them. Had the rear brake bled three times and the clutch one. It doesn't seem to be a very good design. If you plan on doing some signficant touring allot time for dealerships (call ahead) or carry your own parts. Other than that, the trip was wonderful. The bike handles well and the power is breathtaking.

64 years old. Been riding for 43 years. Currently own a 2010 Multistrada. Just completed a 14K mile trip from Alaska to Nova Scotia, down to North Carolina, west through the mid-west (hot!) up through Montana and back home.
