:cool:Hello,bought a 1999 748 2 weeks ago great bike.Until 2 years ago i hadn't had a bike for about 12 years.Bought a kawasaki zrx 1200,it was alright but abit too big, heavy and cumbersome.I wanted a748 years ago whe n they first came out but couldn't afford anew one.The bike iv'e got now is in fairly good nick,standard apart from Termignoni pipes,sound great.I hope to be able to do any work on it myself so will be looking on here for any advice and tips.Iv'e stripped and re built loads of vespas over the years but never done much on a 4t engine.From what iv'e read on the forum already there seems to be some really knowledgeable owners on here so hopefully i'll be able to manage most things.
