1200 DVT Decat V Std Can

  1. Has anyone fitted an Akrpovich full system to DVT 1200 MS? And if so a) was it worth it and b) do panniers still work with it?

  2. We have a 2013 GT and the very same Leo slip on end can as Plug. Fits perfectly, no problem with clearance with panniers GT set or the standard size.

  3. Not sure if it helps but i have the full Termi system fitted & touring pack no problem at all. Got a black smokey number plate behind but thats probably with running it without the baffle in. 2017 1200s touring.

  4. I've fitted the full Akro system, and there's no problem with the panniers, as to whether it's worth it is a personal thing, it's a beautiful looking and sounding system, and I think it was worth the money. Looks a lot better than the Termi IMHO

  5. Hi 73scn, thanks for the response and that's very interesting to know; I assume you have 'decatted' and fitted an LV mid-pipe, so what did you do about the butterfly valve actuator? Or was that taken care of by remapping?

Do you have any photos and clearance dimensions etc you can share?

  6. Good evening Blairso,
What abt the ecu? The Akro came with a flash for update, or did you use another remapping? I agree that it looks much better than the Termi, but I was thinking abt the issues regarding the remapping and butterfly v/v. Pls let us have your feedback.

  7. I was looking for a suitable photo but don’t have one to hand. When I get a moment I’ll take one and post it.

Currently the pimple is connected to the standard mid section with the cat. I have a decat pipe ready to fit and Chris CJS is going to remap the bike. At present the flap is drilled out to prevent any issues.
