OMG I have so missed this! Loved the exploding hedgehog, Tubbs plus Babs and her acronyms. I really hope they commission more than just these three episodes. Brilliant stuff.

Slightly sorry to see they've killed off mad Uncle Harvey but there's stacks of potential in new-look Auntie Val and the horror twins. Micky luv and Pauline and the Queen of Duisburg as funny as ever. Most resuscitated comedy shows feel like tired rehashes but this felt fresh and looks to have plenty of mileage in it.
I've now watched the first one three times, and each time you see or hear something you previously missed. It's absolutely hilarious. I'm particularly liking the vicar/mayor and the vet, Mr Chinnery

Just watched episode one. Liked the little nod to ‘inside no 9’ in the last scene. I take it you’ve all watched that? Great show.
Didn’t watch last nights yet. Also noticed the no9 reference and I’m sure there were references to other stuff and throught the Pauline sketch was very well thought out.
Yes pop was good when I watched it I didn’t think it was as that good but on thinking about it after and talking about a few of the scenes I’ve warmed to it , the hedgehog one was a good one especially with the hedgehogs spike lodged in mums eye on the league would go that far
