For Sale Brembo M4 Monoblock Calipers

  1. As above. Coming off my rsv4. There's a fair bit of pad left. I've not taken them off yet and the bike is at the back of the garage so the couple of photos are a bit shit. Once they're off I'll take some better pics. 300quid. If the buyer is in the UK carriage paid. If abroad, cross that bridge when we get to it...

Off the bike now. Scrubbed and cleaned. I've drawn the pistons, cleaned them, and taken a vernier against a new pad so you can see there's still loads of wear left on the existing pads

  2. You should say if they are 100mm or 108mm figments as this will help other members.
    Great brakes they are.

  3. I thought all ducs were 100mm fitting?...but yes sorry, 100mm fitting....

  4. But you said that they are from an RSV4 ? Andy

  5. Yeah....also 100mm fitting...

  6. Just checked on t’internet and Aprilia use 100mm spacing as well. Andy

  7. IIRC Italian bikes tend to be 100mm, Japanese bikes 108mm

  8. Yep...I must say I thought/new this when I posted I just assumed everyone else knew that too...but 100mm is starting to become the norm now on the jap stuff...I know the new zx10r has 100mm spacing..

  10. Weight reduction o_O

  11. Scored a set of m50's they've got the same pad type as the hpk's on my z1000.

  12. Also the same pad size and fit as used on M4s - JSYK if you have any unused pads laying around :upyeah:

  13. That is why I moved to M50s!

  14. Pads are different...

Well...to the hpk's...must confess I did think they were the same...it's partially an aesthetic choice too.

  15. Not the end of the world as I've still got m4s on the hyper...

  16. What caliper are the pads on the right for? The set on the left fit M4s and M50s

  17. Pads on the right are for the HPK's on my z1000

  18. Haha sorry - by "same pad type" you meant compound not fit!

  19. Different ratio m/cyl are needed for the M50's.

What's with the spacers and bar?

  20. My mate runs an rcs19 on m50's on his rsv4...he says he notices no difference to speak of and has been using them for the last year or so..( I checked first before I bought them ) plus if I do need to change them it's not the end of the world...
