It is only a few months old before the crash so was immaculate. We had a buyer but didn't want to let it go last year as there's over £20k owed on the bike still but practically it's too much time and trouble for us to get it built back up again as a track bike or whatever to try and make the money back. The buyer has now decided he is not able to do it so it is up for sale. We have removed all the parts that have damage or marks except the swingarm, exhaust and bits shown in the photos. There are no marks at all on the engine. The bike crashed heavily so we can't guarantee anything but we have no reason to expect any damage to the engine. It cut out during the crash so has not been run on it's side. The bike was upright through a gravel trap but then flipped over rocky ground hence the damage. The swing arm looks straight but since it's taken a heavy knock I would probably want to get it checked professionally to be sure. I've used the pictures so you can see the original marks on the swingarm and race Akrapovic system, the marks are shallow and I'm fairly sure from having similar marks on my old Pani swingarm that they can be cleaned up easily enough. The airbox/frame has a few marks and some minor damage to one of the screws holes for the front subframe but is otherwise ok. The loom has a little damage to the plastic locking part on the main plug but looks ok to use and this part is industry standard and can be replaced through electrical websites if you wanted. Front callipers are all good. The lines had to be cut when we loaded the bike onto the truck. Comes with full paperwork including V5 and all remaining finance will be cleared before it is sold and this can be done in which ever way the buyer is happy with and they can be included on the call with the finance company to confirm. I still have all the broken parts including all the wheels etc but whilst you might be able to get someone to fix the wheels up I have been recommended that they are too far gone for the type of riding that a bike this powerful would be doing. The price is £11500 for the package with the full Akrapovic race system, mapped ECU and everything in the pictures except the jerry can and my mate (you can have him for £50 extra on a tuesday night). Separately we have available the stock bodywork , front lights and Akrapovic exhaust system in show room condition as this was removed on purchase. https://www.ducatiforum.co.uk/threads/2016-panigale-r-fairings-light-mirrors-etc.55100/#post-990281 Shipping outside the US only available at the buyer expense and organisation following cleared bank payment.
Hi Dave, Did the ecu survive? I take it the display screen was destroyed? When you say 'Akrapovic exhaust system' do you mean oem pipes and Akra' cans? Cheers
Hi. Yes the ECU is all good. I can't remember the exact details with the screen but I'm pretty sure it just got scratch marks, I'll check as soon as I get a chance. (The bike is in Silverstone and I'm in London).
The stock exhaust is Akra cans. They are like the race cans but they also have the Cats inside them. Forgot to mention the callipers are all good.
Fuel tank is no good. The tank itself had a cover and just minor damage but the hinge snapped. I looked to see if it was repairable and it was not.
To answer a few queries that I've had the engine on it's own would be £8k plus any P&P. Due to the finance owed we need to make £10k back.
I've changed the advert to make it a better package to include the full race system and all supporting parts. The stock bodywork and exhaust is available seperately. Admin - please could you change the title to '212bhp at the wheel Panigale R engine, exhaust and other parts package with V5' ?
@royalwithcream - You said "link to follow as it is already on here" regarding the OEM bodywork and Akrapovic cans. I haven't seen it, have I missed it?
There you go mate https://www.ducatiforum.co.uk/threads/2016-panigale-r-fairings-light-mirrors-etc.55100/#post-990281
Ah no the stock exhaust system has not been advertised yet. I wanted to keep the race system so they would have gone with the bike but I can't afford it now. The cats are inside the cans, they otherwise look the same as the race system pretty much. Are you interested in it?
Dyno print out from CJS. The Akra race cans on their own made 200bhp and then it made 211 with the remap. The QS ignition cut has also been reduced at wide open throttle for quicker shifts and the rev limit raised very slightly.
We've been predictably messed around on this. Shipping outside the UK is only available at the buyers expense and if they do the necessary organisation. We are going to split everything down as I think that will be the most practical way to sell. Frames and V5 are very rare so difficult to price; does anyone have any experience of buying or selling one? There's one on ebay for £4000 which seems crazy, another without V5 in the US for £2000.
