Evr Slipper Clutch 48t

  1. Anyone had first-hand experience of using a EVR 48T Slipper Clutch? Any thoughts on track use, reliability, quality etc....

  2. Pretty good. Up there with the best of what's on the market. basket and plates tend to last well, 48T is quieter and more positive on engagement. EVR have been around since pretty much day 1 so no worries with quality

  3. Thanks Nelly. Any better than the Sigma (TSS) ?

  4. I do like the Sigma stuff. Have used it for years and always get good support from Neil Spalding on set up. There's been some good deals around on the EVR by all accounts. Wouldn't have a problem with either really but cost always plays a part. I'd say you're comparing like for like so it comes down to the deal you can get.

  6. I've got 2 of Edo's clutches 1 wet and 1 dry, had wanted an EVR clutch for a while, have only used the wet model so far - they are both the latest race clutches he makes.

Have had SO much hassle with the wet clutch and very poor support from EVR unfortunately, each time they've suggested stuff, or sent different sized spring caps, I've tried again and still the same slipping problems.

I really wanted to like EVR as, until recently, they made the best slipper clutch IMO.
