Hi all, Might be totally irrelevant but here goes. I am doing the conversion on my 959 when it arrives to get rid of the shotgun cans. I am replacing it with an OEM 1299 silencer. I have the silencer and am sourcing the link pipe and lower fairings My question is, are there any differences in the US spec 959 ECU to account for the different exhaust setup? In other words, would I need a remap when going from the shotguns to the under slung? Thanks in advance
Basically No Mines runs absolutely fine as it is with standard 1299 Exhaust fitted Think there are some lower fairings for sale on this site too
as said the bike doesn't need a set up for the underbelly system and it will run fine a rapidbike or a remap will enhance the bike though
Thanks I am tinkering with the idea of going with a woolich after the run in period, but I’m spending a fair bit o money on fairings and crash protection to get it ready for track in the summer so the woolich may have to wait until later
I saw that, but I would have to get them sprayed so I am thinking about going with a black matte cf set of lowers to match the corse paint work Thanks though
