999/848/1098 Rods

Not having any experience of the 999, is the conrod common to other models like the 998 or 996R/RS ? Andy

 

Is it wise to partner used rods with pistons and crank from a different motor??

 

Early 999 Rods are the same as the 998 and remarkably also the same as the 996 when checking part numbers.
They differ on year versions of the 999 though so be careful.
Look here under 'Crankshaft' for each particular model, check model derivatives too as the differ sometimes from Base / S and R models.
