Nice.. My 1260 being delivered today but cant ride it because i cant find an insurance company to cover it (currently waiting on Carol Nash underwriters) Can i ask where you got the insurance from? Tried Carol Nash, Bennetts even Ducati but with no joy. RH.
Thanks for the info but looking at your previous posts you have just insured a 1200 Pikes Peak, the problem is the new 1260. RH.
I did a quote for a 1260 on MCN compare before I bought the Pikes Peak but I suppose it depends on your job, how long passed test and ncb, where you live etc etc Hopefully you'll find someone to insure you at a reasonable cost, I have to admit I was a little miffed at the price I had to pay for my PP but that's insurance companies for you
Carol Nash finally got back to me today and added my 1260 to my multi bike policy for the little sum of £80 I now have the bike and insurance a must introduce myself properly in this Newbies Hangout... RH.
Lucky you. cos Carole Nash gave me a nasty little surprise here in Ireland.I bought a 1260 Pikes Peak to replace a K1600GT -I also have a 2017 Husky 701, '56 Triumph and an 05 Harley Softail garage ornament... Ol' Carole had a big knicker attack about the PP1260....a week or more awaiting a quote as it 'wasn't on their system' (I'm 58 full NCB by the way) ...then midway through the year....my insurance on the fleet was Eur 860 ..they wanted an eye watering ADDITIONAL Eur 540...over a barrel as they say and unable to use the new toy till I coughed up. F**K Carole Nash, am going back to AXA soon as the year's up!
