i saw a post for someone who had the slip on termigs for a multistrada as he had bought a full system. He was looking to sell them, if you pick this post up please get in touch. I have also learned to my cost that any screens that are for Pikes Peak are smaller and won't fit a 1200s I'm assuming that I probably won't see a refund so there's a Puig screen up for grabs
Picked up the 1200s on friday and been out as much as possible. the strange thing is it made my bum ache, on the 999 you're sat on a flat seat but on your thighs, but the multistrada it's more like riding a horse. Bum ache after a couple of hours, may need more time in the saddle.
I also thought they are all the same, so a PP should fit the same model multi 1200S. Maybe a different iteration of 1200, as iirc they early ones are different to the 2013-15 model and different again with DVT
I had the conquest carbon version of the PP carbon screen on my 1200s and it also fits my 1260, they need a bit of influencing to fit but they’re all the same
So your multi is new 2018 1260 or old stock dvt ? , my guess if you have brought a screen for a previous model , may be send it back and get the correct fitment.
just received another wrong one, they swore blind this was the one. something has to be wrong either with the puig listings or the screen frame has got bigger. I have got a brand new still in it's original packaging puig screen which should fit a pikes peak, no chance of a refund as I bought it two months ago. any offers?
I have a 1260 with a Puig race screen. The holes do not line up BUT you can strech it on. Had one on my 1200 dvt was tight but not as bad. Maybe hand drilled. By the way this screen with a wunderlich cut into it is the best screen combo.
I can say for definite that there's no difference between the 1200 DVT and the 1260 screen mounting, and that covers all models. I've had the carbon Pikes Peak and the Puig on both, with very little trouble.
SMG - glad there is another Wunderlich fan out there, I'd thought I was beating the drum by myself for all these years
I think I've found the right one. I contacted Puig and the one they sent was for the earlier model but the one I need for a 2017 bike is a 7622N I hope they are right
