Hi I was wondering if anyone had had the same problem as me with the gear lever on the 1199? On my other bikes the gear lever wants to spring back after you have changed gear. But on my 1199 it stays in place and doesn't want to spring back into the central position. It changes gear no problem. Any help would be great. Tim
One of the springs in the change mechanism has probably snapped. Try searching on here for more information. I recall that it's not a big job to replace it.
Thanks for the swift reply Razz, It was even simpler than that, the front gear lever connection had become loose and it was binding. Nipped it up and hey presto, all good. Cheers Razz
