Wolf Creek is actually in north Western Australia, my daughter spent the night camping there while on a school trip said all the kids were shit scared! Also a mate of mine in Broome used to work with the guy that done the killings.
The “head on a stick” moment in the movie is a horror classic. Seen both the TV series, both are good. Rake is another good Aussie TV show, as is The Code. None get enough distribution outside of Aus.
I saw a bit of the first season of Wolf Creek. It was like Home & Away but without the bitchiness and melodrama.
My other half is an Ozzie, so watching Wolf creek always brings the accent back to life lol, ( and makes her home sick) ( and if winters here carry on like this, then we will move down under, the older I get, the more I hate long winters!)
