V4 V4s

I spoke to my dealer today about my bike which has been built and is ready to ship. He said they changed the position of the reflectors to improve airflow?

 

I heard that too.

 

Well if that is the case then it can only be connected to the airflow to the radiators.

 

Looking at the posts on social media, a big percentage of V4s seem destined for track use only.

 

A big percentage of the first few hundred will be tracked, no doubt. Once Ducati have sold a few thousand it will be free for all.

 

At Peterborough Ducati yesterday the 959 looked way better than the v4 absolutely ridiculous, as for reflectors just pull like you are pulling an illegal off your granny....and ride.

All about opinions and mine could well be wrong....only my opinion

 

I'm confused. My dealer said my base V4 comes with reflectors on stanchions, and they can easily be removed.
So which bikes have the horrid things in the pic posted earlier = who needs to buy spacers?

 

As I understand it (and I could be wrong) is that all the V4 bikes are going to have the horrible little round reflectors on the brakes from now on, they’ve stopped using the fork mounted ones

 

ok thanks Steve - hopefully mine was an early build as it's in the box at the dealer, but I've been away until today

 

My 959 came with them, 30 seconds with a hairdryer and a little wd40 came straight off.. !

 

The part number for the other spacer on the caliper is
71313641A,

Hang on....£4?? What the.....if it's a Ducati part why isn't it £760?

 

Clearly a cheap copy, sure you can find someone willing to charge a lot more

 

I took mine off yesterday, just grab hold and twist them no tools required....
