How about carbon Front mudder, mirrors and wings? I think the colour scheme is sweet. Maybe get a decal of Ducati 999 italia made up smaller for the front mudder?
to make it a 999 thread! she's almost finished now... https://skydrive.live.com/?cid=3cf8...D5797F5982B&id=3CF88D5797F5982B!296&sc=photos and the moving van https://skydrive.live.com/?cid=3cf8...D5797F5982B&id=3CF88D5797F5982B!424&sc=photos grtz Koen
Heres mine from last years Silverstone event. Made a few changes since then but not got it out to photograph yet.
I'd stay with black, looks sweet as it is. And you can spend what you save on paint on fuel when the sun comes out again
Thanks Koen, It's still a work-in-progress. I have the red/white mudguard fitted right now, which looks good but not sure about the red mirror covers - will post some more pics, so you're all thoroughly bored of the whole look before long  Cheers, Dom Here's one with red/white mudguard:
Some might remember: BST`s where sold and should be replaces with a 17'' Mag Wheelset to match the planed widetrack- frontend and RS rear axl con. this year. The Engine under a full rebuild now after a cylinder barrel cracked last year. here`s the current project in it`s inbetween - stage: A true and genuine 1999 Factory Racebike, used by Ben Bostrom in the 99 AMA campaign, finished second that year in the championship. Engine is under rebuild, started with a new set on cases and nearly 90% new parts. Chassis is up to 80-90 %, the complete front and rear end are new and unused parts- Yokes, Forklegs and brake calipers and on the rear beside the 200mm brakedisks everything is new aswell. The 16,5 Marchesinis Mags are just rollers to move the bie around in the workshop, the bike will be on 5 spoke 17'' Mags in it´s final stages. Some more info to come soon... Chris
My 999R, of course its a track bike. Had it for quite a few years now. Putting a 57mm system on now and have a works rear shock of Gregorio Lavilia"s (bad spelling) BSB RS bike. It already has quite a few mods and is worth lots less than it cost me to build! great on the track though. My old 996s (great bike) and Desmosedici, sold as rarely ridden due to expatriation. The 996s was the best road sports bike, for an hour or so. Have to say the new streetfighter I have bought is probably better, mega engine and chassis.
A few pics from my afternnon out in sunny Sussex yesterday - these were taken at Devil's Dyke on the South Downs.
My 749 Had this for 6 months now and love it however, i will sleep better when i have an 848 in white Regards, Rob
Fook me. How freakin gorgeous does that look. You have to take your hat off to the Ducati designers. great looking bike Den.
Cheers mate, in this company didnt think it would get any comments, Not seen many white ones about, gets a few looks when out and about.
Considering how fugly they are supposed to be, there are a lot of 749s/999s on here. I want a tinted screen but at the moment I'm just too bloody poor.
