Hm 796 - Is It Leaning Too Much With The Kickstand Down?

  8. I had 796 and I seem to remember it being quite a way over whilst on the side stand.

    They've got a long stand stem but it locks out in quite a forward location on pivot.

  10. I've just checked the previous owners servicing receipts, it says "welding crankcase/sidestand".

  11. Hmmmm still not convinced...sounds like a bodge....the stand should bolt to the crankcase....take some pics...

  12. I'm guessing it's been crashed on its left hand side at some point hence the welding of the components + the missing handguards, pillion peg and wonky indicator.
