Returning home from a very brief ride last night my 748 decided it fancied the "gully wing" look. The fairing has broken arround the holes that bolts go through to join the two halfs together. Wanted: Two lower fairing in good condition - no cracks arround the bolt holes. Preferably in red. Bikes just back on the road after having an entire new clutch fitted so not impressed that l cannot ride it again. Thanks for any help - Richard
Other than the fixing area are the bottoms damaged elsewhere, if not a repair could be done with some ally plate, just to keep you riding. Steve
They look like they've already been "fixed" once before. The 748 shouldn't/doesn't have plates in there.
The plates were already fitted when l got the bike a few years ago. Thought they were standard- I assume the original fixings were the the duiz clips. Additional plates and new holes will have to make do until l can find a replacement set
