  1. Hi guys in struggling to work out what fits what i know to get the mono tail unit to fit you need the subframe but at £300 if you can find one its proving hard. is there a conversion kit that will fit the bip subframe? just don't want to have to have the back seat on there as the bike use will consist of 90% track time

  2. You'd need to have it painted but this might be your least expensive option?

  3. There is a couple of threads on here if you search.

  4. Scrap that found it

  5. Id actually given you the link above... ;)

Kind of gives you the mono look on a biposto subframe.

  6. Thanks for that. Don’t suppose you know if they’re hard to fit as in can you just swap the seat catches over?

  7. No clue but I’d expect you to need to deploy some fabrication skills to mount it to your preference.

  8. IMG_2582.JPG I converted mine earlier this year. I was lucky enough to get a subframe at a decent price from a guy on here.
If you think subframes are pricey try looking for undamaged plastics. They are silly money if you can find them, which you cant. Thing is, if your serious about track days, the bi frame is 5kg and the mono is 1kg.
Race teams would kill for that saving and you would spend a lot more in other areas trying to shed that.
I got my tail plastics off ebay for £60 and rattle can'd it. not perfect but Im happy with it.
If cost is an issue you have to invoke the man maths. ie, its an investment and I can always get my money back .
There is a subframe on ebay for £250 at the moment so with chinese plastics and paint about £320.
You will also need the peg that holds tail to frame, only available from Ducati, View attachment 121772 View attachment 121772 unless you can make one.
