Thoughts On Private Reg Plates On Bikes?

  1. i have a hyper with a "1" in the numbers . That means you can cut down the plate to 8x6.5 as i have and still be legal.
    The other bike does not have a "1" in it so has to be 9x6.5 legally .
    Funnily enough i have just bought a new jacket / trousers and am going away this weekend .

  2. I'd be reluctant to have a 'memorable' plate on my bike. Although if I could have one that said 'FUCKTHELOTOFYER', I may be persuaded.

  11. I like my plate and bought it coz I like it - don’t really give a feck if anyone else does - got three consecutive on three Ducati’s

    Got a lid and a jacket so don’t need to save up

  19. There is another thing pushing me to getting a private plate.
    According to " how many left " website there have been 1000 aprilia tuono 1100s registered since 2015.
    Every single one seemed to be at the i.o.m t.t this year .It was only the stench of my undies in my luggage that guided me to my bike on the ferry back home.

  20. I got one that came with a car I bought - I didn’t take it off the car , so does that make me egotistical by default?
