Radiator Guards .....

  1. Evening all

    I'm considering putting radiator Guards , probably Evotech, on my SF 848.

    However, I'm concerned this may reduce cooling too much ?

    Any thoughts/experience ?

  2. Had Evotech guards on my 848 and have them on my SF848 at the moment, haven't had any negative effects on cooling or anything else. Judging by the state of my lower rad guard, they're definitely worth it. Dread to think what my lower rad would look like without the guard.

    I think the unusually warm weather here has made me over cautious;)

  4. Nothing wrong with being cautious ;)
    I ran my SF last year in 37C in city traffic, no overheating of the bike what so ever. The rider was a different story though :D

  5. Had them on mine and now on my 1200r , no problems at all. The Evotech stuff is top quality.
