Monster 821 Fall Aside :(

  1. Hei Monster-fellows! A few days ago my Monster 821 /year 2016 fall to the left side. I fixed after the gear shifter and changed the clutch lever, but... the engine doesn`t start.
    The display shows an exclamation mark from the left of SPORT sign and the fuel indicator blinks. Any suggestions, can I resolve it by myself?

    Every good recommendation is expected!

  2. Have you tried disconnecting the battery then re connecting ?

  3. Yes Mick, tried it - no results. Also my friend who builds motorcycles checked it up and according to the manual there is no startup interruption system after falling - on this model.

  5. If there is an exclamation from the left of the "sport" sign on the dash, this is where the gear position is usually displayed.

    Could there be some damage to the gear lever mechanism so that the bike does not know what gear it's in. Will it start with the clutch pulled in?

  8. The startrer works, also the fuel pump - so cannot be either gear or side stand switch problem.

  10. At a guess I would say it's the little switch in your clutch lever perch.
    Take you clutch lever out and have a good look at the switch.
