Hello, Has anyone tried clip on risers on a 998;996;816 etc? If so were they any good? Which models etc? Thanks Slomo
They don't raise them as such but dramatically change the angle at which they drop. Feels more like a Panigale. If you want flat bars I would suggest you just turn the current clip ons upside down. I did try this and hated it as it no longer felt like a Sportsbike to me.
If you want to keep the standard bar set up you could try a Speedymoto top clamp. I just put one on my 848 and it has made a difference (lift is quoted as about 20mm). I wouldn't say it's made it a tourer but I did 120 miles on Saturday and wasn't crying to get off like I would have been at probably 80 miles normally.
