999 Mono Seat Fitted To Biposto

  1. Anyone on here fitted the mono seat unit to a biposto. If so could you post some pics. How far does the frame stick out? Found a 749 for sale with what seems like a cover covering the frame that sticks out (see photo)

  2. That will need a good check over - it has been stripped and the frame re painted at some point in it's life - the frame number might not be readable too...
If fitting a rear mono seat you really need the mono sub-frame too as they look odd otherwise...

  3. I was offered that bike by someone on fb for £3000 but it looked a bit of a mongrel so stayed away

  4. The conversion isn’t right. People will point and laugh. You’ll lose your friends and the chances of your hair falling out with the worry will be overwhelmingly high.

  5. Does look a bit odd tbh. Looks like someone’s hacked up a rear hugger and stuck it under the seat unit

  6. This is my bi recently converted to mono with a genuine subframe and
cheap chinese plastics. All the above replies are true especially the bit about your hair,
although just owning a **9 will leave you follicly challenged. IMG_2583.JPG
