  1. OH MY! The weather we are having here in Loch Lomond, Scotland, AND for such a long time too.....ooooffft what a really strange surprise for us up here. Getting in some fantastic miles in the last few weeks. Hey but now im getting a wee bit worried and looking for some help if anyone has some info? Had my 899 for 3 years now and .........i know its taboo but i use it to commute to and from work (approx 32 miles round trip, 5 days per week), i have covered some 10,000 miles+ in these 3 years and had no problems, now i have started getting a "Hi Temp" warning and guage hits 120 degrees sitting in tick over, constantly check my fluid levels, could it just be that we have 30 degrees air temp outside at the moment?

  2. Had it on my 1199 when I first got it (from a dealer!) , as you probably know the coolant level is a fecker to see properly, have you tried putting any in?? Could be air in the system??

  3. yeah i was thinking about air as i have just topped up the coolant and level is good, there was still plenty coolant in there but just topped up the little that it needed so good chance it could be air, i read that someone had the same and they "burped" it, not sure what they meant by that

  4. I’d say it’s just the high ambient temps we’ve had

  5. Wouldn't put it down to the weather. Rode mine on Thursday in the middle of the day and it didn't go above 105 in stop start traffic.

  6. Fan should kick in at tad over 100 and bring it back down. Is it working . I,d look into soon as that's way high.
