Was mine, in hindsight too cheap. Could of sold it a Few times over within a couple of hours, but I was happy with 9k. I know of another 748R-02, which has just sold this week for 10k, with just over 10k miles, but very clean condition.
I’ve been watching the market for 2 or 3 months and not seen any sell for more than £10k same goes for 749r’s. The rarer bike market seems dominated by trade who price high and sit on them for ages, private sellers like marks you mention, either price to the market and sell quickly or price to the trade prices and don’t. The £12k probably will sell, but he is needing a buyer that only wants a 748R and wants it now and isnt looking at what other exotica that can be bought in that price bracket.
Where are all these 748R being sold, I’m watching EBay, autotrader, MCN here and Pistonheads, where else should I be looking?
A lot of rare stuff change hands with out coming on the market.. but you pretty much have the bases covered.. Facebook groups is a good one too
