  1. Picked up a nice 1 year old 1200 S Sport today. 300 mile round trip to Duc Alyesbury and back to EYorks. Effing windy, van getting blown all over the place. Note to any other buyers using a borrowed van to pick up a Mutley, if its a standard Merc Vito make sure you remove the screen and mirrors first!!! Didn't realise quite how tall these bike are!!!! Just need some better weather now.

  2. VAN??!!! You mean you didn't want to test-ride it!?

  3. Nice one mate you will love it I do. Were about are you approx?

  4. But yes, you ARE going to love it. They're GREAT bikes. Word to the wise - make sure it's had all it's recalls done. It makes a lot of difference!

  5. Great bike, fingers crossed for some nice weather for you

Also had mine in the back of a vito, mirrors and screen off too, then it only just went in...!

  6. Just near Howden, small village off M62. Easy access to some great riding roads, although extensively potholed ones at the moment!

  7. Took a quick ride yesterday before I signed up. Coming off a Gixxer 1000 K9 it is very different power delivery.
Being a bit dim here but how do i check if it's had the recalls done? It's been a Ducati UK bike and had just been serviced by Duc so i had just assumed it would be up to date.

  8. If it's just been serviced by Duc it's probably fine but a quick phone call to them to confirm won't hurt. If it's only a year old it'll have less recalls anyway than an older bike (mine's 2010) but you still may be due a ECU flash, coolant change and kill-switch replacement.
