Mine is 2017 1200s with full termi decat & upmap. At 7500miles & 1 yr old took it for its service to Cobb & jagger. Ducati leeds. Took 3 1/2 hrs to do & brilliant job done. The paperwork they gave me had a a sheet showing ECU updates. Not sure what they have done. Been on long runs for the last 2 days, 300 miles. The bike at 1st felt like it was not mine. But after these long runs it is even better than when the the 1st upmap was done. No bullshit but i can go through the gears real quick & be in 6th at anything from 45mph upward & it pulls like a feckin train. The guys i ride with say it sounds different from behind, where they always are. Mates bikes are BMW K1300s.. Gs 1200 adv 2016 Triumph tiger sport 1050. & colin Edwards rep SP2. They all say the same. we cannot keep up with that bloody DUKE. Ducati the best. Bring on the V4.

no unfortunately . I would never flash a ducati without it going on the dyno without lambda probes in the headers. I mean there are some rare exceptions but a canned map loaded to a ducati from an identical bike (even made on the dyno ) can be dangerous. Or turn out as off as the manufacturers tune. There are too many descrepencys in cam timing , throttle balance and mainly injector flow rates between bikes. Because of this a ducati needs a bespoke map even if its the same as your mates

I bet loads. Only you can decide if its worth the £500...but if its 10hp increase mid range, I'd say yes even if outright power was only a couple difference
I’m not too bothered about an increase in hp, but the current map needs the rough bits ironing out for sure
I have had a custom map after a DP flash (848) that would have been the ducati up map equivalent, and it was night and day
Totally understandable, thanx for the prompt reply. I've actually been in the mapping business for almost 20 years myself though more as a hobby but also working with engine builders. Would love to be able to tune this 1260S myself. I guess someone will come up with a OBD2 solution for the rest of us sometime
There was an update to the upmap. Do so last week. Seems smoother and more eager and very traceable low down. There is a Bluetooth update as well.
