Bought mine brand new for 30k. (people carrier good for family trips, track days and taking the enduro bike abroad) Used it mostly to travel to Austria, Romania for enduro rides so probably 90% motorway miles. Broke down at 23k and then again at 24k. Both issues where clutch related, could not shift gears. Not even sure where the bus is now...being recovered from near Budapest by AA, I took a plane back to UK. Will keep until warranty runs out, then you can have it for a bag of Wotsits Edited: Had to leave 2no enduro bikes in the bus..AA won't cover is these will be stolen WTF?
I've had a MB Sprinter (shit), an MB Vito (shit - although to give it its due the fecker is still going after 11 years, 250K km and no service for 70K km) and a VW Transporter, 07MY which was great and which I wish I'd never sold. I've had a 1981 Porsche 911SC with turbo body and whale tail which I now sincerely regret selling as I didn't at the time realise how rare they were. A Boxster S, which I don't mind having sold. A 996 which I regret selling. A host of other cars and bikes including a Hillman Imp (my first car) and a Hillman Avenger. Just the name of the later made it sound cool. Unfortunately it wasn't. not only that, mine was red which very quickly turned pink in the sun. Now, my whole life's savings is invested in a 1987 Citroen 2CV (not counting the bikes). Please don't tell me classic car values are about to go through the floor.
He tends to work in binary. So he’ll take the van. Because imagination and desire doenta work in binary. No idea how he computes 4 bikes
Had this for twelve years now I think, got pissed off with stupid enquiries from nutters and stuck it in the bodyshop with most of the interior removed. Five years ago nearly haha. Sometimes I wake up at night convinced I have another car somewhere and forgot where I parked it haha, it's so long since I've seen it the value has increased apparently a pal said, probably not much because it needs welding and quarters, but still not so bad, up is up. Whilst some may say I bet you wish you took the silly offers, I would say I bet they wish they'd paid up haha. I best go see if it's still there eh.....
That is a nice thing, the 356 that @Exige spotted. Its a BT5 cabriolet, but with a slight nod to the so called Outlaw look due to the lack of over riders on the bumpers, and the louvres in the engine lid. The nomenclature of the 356 is properly odd, because those crazy Germans didn't logically apply changes in the model numbers sequentially, or at a time that coincided with proper changes to the body style. If you are really bored some time I might have to tell you how it goes.
Cheers 20” wheels with 2.75/40/ZR20 106 W XL tyres. It’s not been slammed, although I would like to drop the front just a little, it’s a much used campervan so unless I went full air it’d be a pretty bumpy ride.
Your actually quite close to figuring me out! At OYB yesterday, the only bike I'd actually get was a 2010 blade with 20k mls. No point getting anything else as hardly ever ride on road and have 2 road bikes I don't use and the rest were to nice for track. Although a new zx10r for £130 a month was tempting.
Used to have one for of those, only in silver with no writing down the side. It lost 10 grand in the 10 years I had it. Think the wife misses it more than me.
