So I bought full termi for the Hypermotard 2k’s worth,dropped it off for fitting,but no upmap was sent,so bike is off the road,upmap was ordered by the dealer on the 2nd October and still not here,so now going into 3 weeks with no bike,for a exhaust,certainly rethinking about buying Ducati again. Dealer has offered me a loan bike,but I just want mine back.
Take the loan bike, enjoy it and pretty soon all will be good, you might ask the dealer for a goodwill gesture off your next service?
@Wsb27 why not take your bike back with the stock exhaust and ask them to let you know when all the replacement parts arrive?
Seems like good service and an unfortunate issue really depending on if the loan bike was a Scramblie or one of those V4's - but you could always wear a different helmet so your mates don't see if that was the case …………………...
The exhaust is all fitted,Ducati said the upmap would be with them by last Saturday,still not here. It’s not the dealer,it’s the factory,how hard is it to put a box in an envelope. The whole exhaust arrived quicker. Loan bike is monster or multi,no v4
Moaning,3 weeks without your bike for an exhaust is a piss take,haven’t got the loan bike yet,only just been offered it. It’s putting a little box in a bloody envelope ffs. It’s not hard. Ducati build bikes but can’t use the postal service.
It’s a preloaded upmap key that plugs into diagnostic port,hence why does it take so long to come from italy
